Congratulations to my students who performed at our June studio recital! This school year has been super busy for everyone, but I am so glad to see every student making progress in their own way. It is so nice to celebrate everyone's growth at our concert! Here is our program. Many thanks to our special guest, Jasmine Chan, who performed the clarinet for us!

Congratulations to my student, Sarah Yip, who presented a mini concert at her home! This project is aimed towards fulfilling her CAS credit in her high school AP program. Since December, Sarah has planned the event, selected repertoire, learned new pieces, and polished her performance skills to complete this project. This is no easy feat! I am so happy to see her grow and take up this challenge. It was a beautiful spring salon concert!

Congratulations to my students who performed at our December studio recital! We had a big audience so it was a great experience for everyone to perform in front of a sizeable crowd! I'm so proud to hear so much musicality in everyone's playing. The hard work is definitely paying off! Here is our program. Congratulations to Jackie Liu for receiving First Place at the Kiwanis Music Festival! He performed "La fille aux cheveux de lin" by Claude Debussy at the Grade 9 Impressionist Class.

Congratulations to Gregory Parth for winning the Edmonton Pops Orchestra Composers Competition! The Edmonton Pops Orchestra premiered his piece "Waltz Macabre" at the Johann Strauss Foundation Ball in April 2025.
